For biting the FA has given newport County defender Ryan Inniss a five-match ban.
Inniss was sent off within an EFL Trophy match that County lost 5-4 to West Ham U21s on Wednesday and also has been charged last week.
The 6ft 5in centre-back, online from Crystal Palace, was dismissed late on for the episode which involved 18-year-old Hammers left-back Reece Hannam.
An FA statement read:“Ryan Inniss has announced that a violation and been immediately suspended due to his following five first-team aggressive matches with the independent Regulatory Commission.
„The standard three-match ban that would normally apply was clearly insufficient.“
Speaking immediately after the match, County manager Michael Flynn admitted he could not shield the loanee.
He said:“Their player said he has bitten, so I’ll take a look at this and learn what happened.
„If he has bitten him, it’s inexcusable and that I won’t be fighting his corner.“
The 24-year-old, that has captained the book side of Palace and is away from Selhurst Park on his ninth loan deal, will miss the matches against Carlisle, Macclesfield, Exeter, Swindon and Northampton of Newport.
