New Zealand Rugby have announced that former All Blacks center next year Mark Robinson will triumph Steve Tew as chief executive.
Tew, that has been chief executive as 2007, surprisingly disclosed he is going to resign from the job at the year’s conclusion.
Early next calendar year, robinson, who played with with nine evaluations will assume the role.
He explained:“I’m really excited about what this opportunity provides.
„I’ve got a clear vision to continue to grow the wonderful work established under Steve’s watch and recognise the significant responsibility we have in ensuring our game proceeds to flourish at all levels.“
Robinson had his playing career blighted by a series of injuries, returning to New Zealand as chief executive of the Taranaki Rugby Union after he murdered.
One of his first tasks are to create a relationship with Steve Hansen stepping down in Japan following the World Cup, with a brand new All Blacks coach.
