BIG MARLEY’S UFC FIGHT NIGHT 137 DRAFT KINGS FANTASY BREAKDOWN

This weekend, we’ve got a 14-fight card in Brazil. DraftKings has some decent competitions available with this Fight Night card, and this is uncommon for all these free ones. The principal tourney is the $8 entrance and pays $20k to 1st. That is the main GPP I’ll be chasing this week. As always, I will be in the 3-entry max and only entry GPPs too. But this week DraftKings has two contests for trips out to Vegas to see that the McGregor vs Khabib battle. Fights all, hotel, and flight paid for. The floor chairs competition is a $33 entrance and the non-floor seats contest is simply a $15 entrance. I am going to need to take a few shots in that too. Also, DraftKings simply released a contest for UFC 299 that is a $10 entry with a massive $100,000 to 1st place. That’s by far the greatest prize we have ever seen in DFS MMA, so let us build a bankroll this weekend so we can shoot a few extra shots at that $100k. With that said, here are a few plays I enjoy this week as well as my fade of the week:
Money Game play of this week — Livia Renata Souza ($9,600)
Livia Souza is your safest win on the card and I think she gets this battle finished early. That is where I am starting my money LUs this week. Only give me the -1100 favored who is being fed an easy win , for my money games. I really do like a lot of the top favorites with this particular card, I just are the most shocked if Souza lost. I think she’s good in both formats, but she will most likely be chalky in GPPs, therefore money games would be the best place to get your Souza investment this week. Simply take this triumph, and then find 3 others and you need to be useful in cash games.
GPP play of the week — Charles Oliveira ($9,400)
I’m a big Charles“Do Bronx“ Oliveira fan, and he has a few of my favorites in UFC history. I believe we can see another amazing one here. This battle appears to be simple to call. Do Bronx will start looking for the early takedown and when he can get it then he probably gets a 1st round sub. If this happens he must lock up a strong 100 points and I am pretty confident in being the results of the struggle, so that is why he is my GPP drama of the week. He is also my GPP play of this week, rather than my Money play of the week for a motive. If he can’t get the takedown(s) early, then he will likely stop and get finished himself with strikes. I don’t enjoy that risk of a low floor for my money LU, so I prefer Souza there. But in GPPs I enjoy saving the $200 and moving down to perform Bronx.
Underdog play of the week — Eryk Anders ($7,600)
I would like Anders a lot more if he wasn’t carrying this fight on short notice, and when it was not in Brazil. However he can have a very clear route to victory here and that is by knocking outside Santos who doesn’t have a fantastic chin. Anders could also go for takedowns in this fight and he could win with some hard GNP too. At $7.6k he’ll almost surely wind up on the winning LU if he’s able to acquire the KO. This is the main event, so he’ll have 5 rounds to function with. I do think this is a solid matchup for Anders, but he must be competitive and not hang out on the exterior. When he hangs out on the outside as long Santos will consume him up with kisses and it could be a short night for Anders. I am going to select him to get the win here as an underdog in Brazil and I think he gets it completed in the first two rounds with a KO. That will easily pay off his $7.6k salary and it will win you a GPP if you can get your additional five spots correct as well.
Fade of the week — Sam Alvey ($9,200)
Sam Alvey is a fade for me. Last time I wrote him up as my fade of the week here, I was quite wrong and he scored over 100 points. Then so be it, if this happens . However, I refuse to rely on an early KO triumph to cover off a 9.2k salary from a man who does not throw several strikes. At $9.2k I need at least 92 points from Alvey if I roll up him and the only real way get caught that’s using a 1st round KO win. That could occur here against a 42-year-old Lil Nog, but I am not eager to invest my money in it.
