After an uneven start, Naomi Osaka starts US Open title defense with win over Anna Blinkova

(CNN) — Despite the amazing functionality, Naomi Osaka’s US Open title defense is Released in New York.

Osaka is seeking to become first woman because Serena Williams won three in a row from 2012 to 25, to defend a US Open title. She will have to defend her title to keep the No. 1 position. Osaka competition will be Poland’s Magda Linette, who won her first career WTA title on the weekend at the NYJTL Bronx Open.
Back in January when she won the Australian Open, Osaka became the very first girl to win second consecutive major after winning her first since Jennifer Capriati did so in 2001 (Australian Open followed by the French Open). But later hoisting the prize Osaka was Somewhat uneven away from the courts, losing in the first round at Wimbledon and at the round of the French Open.

Osaka is again back on her comfortable surface, while she may not have been in the top of her game on Tuesday. She’s reached two quarterfinals this summer in Cincinnati and Toronto, and all three of her career singles titles are won who won Indian Wells in 2018.
